The Fabrication Machine Operator position has the following general responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, bevel protractors, and others to verify and inspect parts
• Set up and adjust tooling (one touch, European style on brakes)
• Form steel, stainless and aluminum to a given print (within tolerance)
• Calculate bend deductions
• Setup and adjust tooling and install into turret punch
• Program and edit programs on an Amada NT control for brakes, turret punch or laser
• Adjust setting in technology for laser cutting conditions
• Clean and maintain lens and nozzles
• Program and run automation
• Do daily maintenance on machines
• Work in other areas of fabrication and/or machine shop
• Drive forklifts and load materials into machines
• Must be well organized, self-motivated, and possess good communication skills
• Must have a minimum of two years experience, good work history and attendance

Second shift hours are 2:15 PM -12:45 AM Monday thru Thursday with occasional overtime. We are also looking for first and second shift employees for a weekend shift. Our shop is environmentally controlled.
